The Kansas Jayhawks have been one of the best teams in the Big 12 this season and one Tuesday night they will play against the Baylor Bears on the road at the Ferrell Center and the game for college basketball will be on ESPN2 and streaming on the WatchESPN website live starting up at 7 pm ET with freshman phenom Andrew Wiggins.

This season Wiggins has been as good as advertised and he is leading the team in scoring with 16 points per game and all signs point to him being one of the top picks in the lottery this year once the season ends. The Jayhawks are coming off of a bad loss to then number 25 ranked Texas and that game against the Longhorns was a blowout on the road and now they will try to rebound against another Lone Star team in Baylor and this time they have the advantage, as the Bears are just 2-6 in the conference after making a run last season, while the Hawks are 7-1 on the season in the Big 12 and 16-5 overall.

The team had won seven games in a row before losing to Texans and now the team plays three of the next four on the road including the matchup with the Longhorns and after playing West Virginia at home they will play Kansas State on the road in Manhattan. The team has a tough schedule coming up with more Texas teams in TCU and Texas Tech and then they play against three ranked teams in a row to finish the season before playing on the road against West Virginia to end it. After playing against TTU, the team hosts number 15 Texas and then number 21 Oklahoma before visiting number 19 Oklahoma State and those teams could rise in the rankings by the time that game comes along, especially the Cowboys with their star Marcus Smart, who is looking like a lottery pick himself.

Kansas comes into the game scoring nearly 80 points per game and that is one of the best in the nation, while the team is ranked fourth in field goal percentage while shooting over 50 percent from the floor this season. The team is in the top 50 in all major offensive categories and that is one reason why they are in the Associated Press Top 25 and on defense they have been solid, averaging 70 points allowed per game to go along with over five steals and five blocks per contest.

Baylor comes into the game after an impressive win against Oklahoma State and now they play against Kansas before a road matchup with Oklahoma. The Bears had lost five games in a row before playing against OK State and now they have a nice conference win to take with them down the stretch and the schedule doesn't get any easier from there. After playing a top 10 team in the Cowboys, the Bears play against the Jayhawks on Tuesday and then have a matchup with Oklahoma and then looming down the line are more ranked teams in a home matchup with OK State and then Texas and Iowa State at the end of the season and the Longhorns game will be in Austin.
