The NFL playoffs have the final standings set and now the Seattle Seahawks are the best team in the game after winning the Super Bowl over the Denver Broncos and now the NFC has won the championship over the AFC to take back the Lombardi Trophy from the Ravens and now they head into next year looking to repeat.

The Seahawks were dominant on Sunday night and they played their type of game against the Broncos and from the get go it was their matchup, as Denver fell behind right away with a safety. The last time the best offense and the top defense matched up the defense won when the Giants defeated the Bills and now that has played out again. The Seahawks were the best overall defense in the league and they showed why on Sunday night, as the Broncos did not score until the second half and Peyton Manning could not get anything done at MetLife Stadium.

Malcolm Smith had the big play with the interception for a touchdown, but the pressure from players like Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett helped get things going and the Broncos could not play consistently on Sunday night and now they are going home very disappointed after scoring the most points in NFL history this season. The Broncos set records of passing yards and passing touchdowns, but they only got one of those on Sunday night and Manning ended up with 280 yards and two crucial picks and now people will talk about his legacy after setting the record for most playoff losses in a career.

Russell Wilson was excellent passing and rushing the ball and Percy Harvin did his part with a kickoff return for a touchdown as well as 45 yards rushing and now he is a champion after being acquired in the offseason and while he barely played this season, he made a huge difference in the game and the whole team. Wilson could have won MVP but Malcolm Smith was very deserving and now they are the top team in the NFC heading into next season. The Seahawks are champions for the first time and the NFC takes back the Lombardi Trophy.
