The NFL Championship schedule for 2014 has the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks game on Sunday at MetLife Stadium For Super Bowl XLVIII and the matchup will be on FOX and features a number of high profile players and names like Peyton Manning and Richard Sherman and the game will stream online from the NFL.com website and starts up with kickoff at 6:25 PM ET and there will be tons of new commercials and trailers from the game as well.

Manning comes in after leading the number one offense in the league in the Broncos and they will be facing off against the number one ranked defense in the league in the Seattle Seahawks and that hasn't happened in years and is only the fifth time it has happened since the main merger between the AFL and the NFL and comes for the first time in over two decades since the Giants and Bills did it in 1990 when the G-Men won that game. The Seahawks have the top ranked red zone defense and Manning and his offense were the best in that area and now they will face off against each other in the big game. The Seahawks have the best cornerback unit in the league and they are ranked first in passing yards allowed per game, while the Broncos are first in yards gained.

Based on the trends, the Seahawks have the advantage after the top defense has won three of the last four matchups when it's number one on No. 1 and the cold weather could be a factor or them as well. Manning said he doesn't see any issues with the weather, but if it's windy and cold, the fact that the Seahawks are more of a rushing team should come in handy and Marshawn Lynch could have a huge game and could be the difference in the matchup. The two sides matchup as best in yards gained and yards allowed and now Manning has the chance to get into the Super Bowl and win his second championship.

Manning can set some milestones with a victory, as he could be the first QB to win Super Bowls while starting for two different franchises and this comes after Kurt Warner was the first to even attempt that. Manning also comes in as the fourth quarterback ever to lead the league in touchdown passes and yards and get into the championship game and that comes after Tom Brady, Dan Marino and Warner and the track record there isn't great, as all three lost the matchup. The Seahawks come into the game after ranking fourth in the NFL in rushing yards per game and Lynch will be looking to go beast mode and the defense ranks in the top 10 in both passing and rushing yards allowed per game.

Russell Wilson has shown that he is one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and he is now in the Super Bowl in just his second season and that makes him the sixth to do it in first two years in the league and he could join a few in Brady, Warner and Ben Roethlisberger as QBs that won the game. The Seahawks went to the Super Bowl nearly a decade ago against the Steelers and the Broncos haven't been in over 10 years and now the two teams matchup and Wilson comes in after tossing 26 touchdowns for the second straight season. Prediction: Denver 24, Seahawks 21.
