Kansas might have struggled through non-conference play, losing four games in the process, but they have quickly established themselves of the best of the Big 12 conference. The Jayhawks remain undefeated in conference play, but will test that record on Saturday as the No. 6 team heads to Austin to face newly ranked Texas.

The Jayhawks saw their 68-game non-conference win streak break against San Diego State. However, the team has followed that up with seven-straight wins as they hit the mid-way portion of the season. Kansas started their impressive win streak against Oklahoma where they then won four-straight games over ranked opponents including Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Baylor.

The win streak has featured a turnaround for star Andrew Wiggins. The freshman is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft in Junes, but recent struggles have put that into question. However, he put up 27 points against TCU and then put up 29 against Iowa State. In the past three games, he is averaging 24 points.

The Longhorns might be one of the hottest teams in college basketball. Texas has put together five-straight wins, three coming against ranked opponents Iowa State, Kansas State and Baylor. They will try and win their fourth against Kansas. The team had the week off to try and prepare for the Jayhawks after completing a tough stretch of the season. However, winning during that time has Texas ranked for the first time since 2010. Freshman guard Isaiah Taylor will continue to lead the team as he is coming off his own 27-point game.

Texas has lost five straight games against Kansas. The Jayhawks have won their last three road games against the Longhorns. However, Texas has momentum and will be looking to win big at home.
