Barcelona is playing Levante live on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals and Barca comes in playing well after a nice 3-0 La Liga win against Malaga and now they get the chance to host at Camp Nou with Lionel Messi and the match could be one of the best of the day before Barcelona picks up with upcoming games against Sevilla and Man City in the Champions League.

Barca has gotten a boost since Messi has come back from his injury and now they are looking to continue playing well as they push their lead on the La Liga division table and they are in first place right now with Atletico Madrid with 54 points, but have the edge in scoring. Barca is one point ahead of rival Real Madrid and those three teams are the clear favorites as the rest of the table is over 10 points back as they clear their way to the top. Alexis Sánchez is leading the team in scoring and Messi is coming up with eight goals, while Cesc Fábregas, Neymar and Xavi have done their part as well and they will; make it tough for Levante on Wednesday.

Barcelona comes in after winning the first leg away 4-1 and now they are playing Levante for the third time in four matches, as they had the first leg and the La Liga match before this game and coming up on the schedule is the Champions League last 16 start as well as matches ahead against Real Madrid at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu and the return trip at home against Manchester City. The Champions League should be a fierce battle this season and with the way Manchester City is playing, not even Barcelona can overlook them, as they have won seven matches straight in Premier League play.

Barcelona put themselves on top of Atletico Madrid with the win over Malaga and they got strong play from Gerard Pique, Pedro and Alexis and they would like to see that continue on the schedule as the UCL nears. Barca has put themselves in first place once again after scoring in bunches and the way things are going with the three teams at the top, the goal scoring could be what ultimately decides things between the trio, especially with the way Ronaldo is playing for real.

Neymar has been in the spotlight lately with details of his transfer coming to light and the 57 million euro deal has been getting some extra looks about the money and where it went. At the same time, Jean Marie Dongou and Macky Frank Bagnack inked deals to stay with the club and that is a big move, as it ensures that the young stars stay put as they develop and they went to Barca's La Masia and it comes after Dongou previously made his debut for the team against Celtic in the last Champions League match and now Barca is getting ready for the next match on the UCL schedule as they have Manchester City coming up in February.
