Richard Sherman has established himself as the bar for measuring cornerback success. The Seattle Seahawks star made that clear during a post-game rant following the NFC championship win. Now that he has done a lot of talking, people are expecting him to live up to the self-hype. According the Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey, actions speak loud than words.

Bailey is unfazed by Sherman's declaration that he is the best secondary player in the NFL. Bailey is certainly no slouch himself considering he has been to the Pro Bowl 12 times in his career. As Bailey prepares to take the field Sunday, he says he will let his play speak for itself.

"If you feel like you are the best, go ahead and say it," Bailey said, via NFL Network's Deion Sanders. "But, you know, I'm looking at your actions. It's not about what you say, it's about what you do. And, you know, if the guy's out there ballin' and he want to talk about it, go ahead. He's his own man. One thing about it, once they shine that light on you, you better be ready for it."

Bailey told reporters that he feels no need to declare himself the best in the game stating his stats speak for themselves. When asked if his game is "loud", Bailey replied that his 15-year career should be the answer for that.

While Bailey prepares to beat Sherman, the Denver Broncos wide receiving corps is watching the Seattle secondary very closely. Pete Carroll's pass defense is certainly impressive and very physical, but receiver Demaryius Thomas is not concerned by all of the hype and intimidation.

"It don't bother me," Thomas said. "I like getting hit. That's why I play the game. We understand it's going to be a physical game and we have to match their intensity and their physicality. You can't come out and get pushed around. That's not something you can do if you're going to win a football game."

The Seattle secondary first the Peyton Manning-led passing attack will certainly be a matchup to keep an eye on leading up to the Super Bowl. Manning has a pick-your-poison attitude as he spent the season spreading the ball around to Thomas, Wes Welker, Julius Thomas and Eric Decker. Sherman will certainly be tested to live up to his words.
