The Super Bowl 2014 game is on February 2 and with a snow forecast being a possibility for the game, both coaches have spoken at length about the weather and conditions and how that could affect the outcome of the game and now it has hit the teams where they are practicing as well and that could hinder preparations for the game.
According to ESPN.com, both John Fox and Pete Carroll expressed some issues with the fact that there was snow on the practice fields for the game and that could be a problem going forward. Both teams know that there could be snow on the day of the big game, but to practice they still need a clean field to get all their game plan and plays set and the practices eventually may move indoors as a result.
The harsh weather for practice would be an issue and frozen fields and with temperatures expected to be in the mid-30s, teams may want to get inside to ensure that their game plans are put in correctly despite the weather. The NFL is ready for all contingencies and as of right now, there are no plans to move the game.
"We haven't had a chance to get over there yet, but we understand there's snow on the fields and they're frozen and we likely could be inside for most of the week," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said.
