The Seattle Seahawks have been a favorite for the Super Bowl all season and now they can deliver on all that promise with a win on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers and the game is going to be on TV on the schedule on FOX starting up at 6:30 pm ET and is the third time these two are playing and will be for the NFC championship and the matchup is from CenturyLink Field in Washington.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are 16-1 over the past two seasons and that makes this matchup even more difficult for the Niners and they haven't won here in two years and this is the third time the teams are playing after splitting the previous two. The Seahawks won in a blowout against the Niners early in the season, but that game was without Michael Crabtree in the lineup and now he will be back in action and Anquan Boldin comes in after another great playoffs performance against the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers. The 49ers are looking to knock off the top seed in the NFC this season and Pete Carroll and his defense com in ranked as one of the best in the NFL and they ranked first in the league in passing yards per game allowed with Richard Sherman leading the way and the team allowed the seventh least amount of rushing yards per game in the NFL.

Marshawn Lynch will need to continue rushing the ball well if Percy Harvin can't suit up for the game he will be even more important with his rushing on the ground and the Niners match up well with them rushing the ball. The two teams have the same strengths in rushing the ball with Lynch and Frank Gore, strong defenses up the middle and against the run, but where the Seahawks are far ahead are against the pass and also with the pressure they get on quarterbacks. Russell Wilson isn't as flashy as Colin Kaepernick, but he doesn't need to be with the way the Seahawks play and if Lynch can get going he could end up winning without even throwing a touchdown pass.

The team comes into the matchup after locking down the Saints last weekend and despite giving up 300 yards to Drew Brees, the game was never in question and now the Seahawks play in front of their fans the 12th man as they try to advance to MetLife Stadium, where they would be playing for the second time this season after defeating the Giants in a 23-0 domination. The Seahawks have played well against the Niners at home over the past two seasons and now they have the chance to get to the Super Bowl. The Denver Nuggets and the New England Patriots are playing in the AFC and now Peyton Manning or Tom Brady will get the chance to be in the Super Bowl in February.
