The Cleveland Browns have another top five pick in the draft this season and after going defense last year, the team may be looking at a receiver in Sammy Watkins, Kelvin Benjamin, Marqise Lee or Allen Robinson after the issues that have come up with Davone Bess, who tweeted out a picture containing marijuana and his arrest for assault in Florida.
According to ESPN.com, Bess was arrested in Florida for assault of a law enforcement officer at an airport early on Friday and the report says that he was "acting erratically" and confronted an officer in Fort Lauderdale. This comes after Bess tweeted out a photo that clearly contained marijuana in it and the Browns made a statement saying that they were aware of the photo and would handle things and now the team has the assault charge to deal with. Bess missed the final two games for "personal reasons" and this comes after the team traded for Bess last season from the Miami Dolphins and he was in 14 games last season.
The 28-year-old receiver's future with the team could be in question now and players like Kelvin Benjamin and Sammy Watkins could be options for the Browns. The team is likely going to look at a quarterback in the draft, but the team has some extra picks and that could come later. The Browns have Josh Gordon after he had a breakout season in 2013 and now the offense may be getting an overhaul under a new head coach and the team could go after a quarterback like Blake Bortles as well.
