The Aaron Hernandez case has gone quiet for the most part in recent weeks as the judge in the case decides whether or not to impose a gag order and with his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins looking to get her perjury charges dismissed, the latest news on the case is about a related double murder, as a warrant ties Hernandez to the deaths of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado.

Hernandez has been looked at as a person of interest and a suspect by police in the killing of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado and that came up after he was arrested for the original crime of murdering Odin Lloyd. Many have speculated that killing Lloyd was to protect himself from getting found out about these murders, but there is not concrete evidence yet and he has not been charged. Now, according to ESPN.com and the Hartford Courant, Hernandez is tied to the murders and new documents obtained by the paper shows why the police looked at him as a suspect.

Hernandez is being held on first degree murder charges in the case involving Lloyd and now he could be facing further chargers in the double murder. According to the reports, Hernandez can be seen in video footage at the night club at the same time as the two victims and later the car that he was in can be seen driving near the scene of the crime. No charges have been filed yet, but the documents are troubling for Hernandez, as one victim of the shooting that was not killed said that he pulled the trigger and the report also says that the reason the police were looking into it in the first place regarding Hernandez came from a tip after the Lloyd killing in June.

According to Deadspin.com, a security guard at a different night club called police with a top, saying that the Lloyd killing and the drive by were related and the reason he said that was because someone from the club he works at saw Hernandez and Lloyd in an argument (which has been reported on as the reason Hernandez killed Lloyd) and that the patron saw what they were saying and that the patron "accidentally spilled the beans in front of me."

Making matters even worse for Hernandez, the 4Runner Toyota that was reportedly used in the killing was seen on video circling the area where the two men were and then can be seen pulling up next to their car and shooting into it --- that car was found at Hernandez's uncle's home after a year and the gun was found in the car of Jailene Diaz-Ramos, 19, who is possibly connected to a friend of Hernandez, but no full connection has been made yet.
