Manchester United and Sunderland are playing in the Capital One Cup semifinals on Tuesday and the match will be at the Stadium of Light starting up at 2:45 pm ET after Man U previously won against Stoke City and this will be the first match before the return to Old Trafford and comes at a tough time for the club, as they were knocked out of the FA Cup over the weekend.

Manchester United comes in after losing to Swansea City to get knocked from the FA Cup in the third round for just the second time in 30 years and it added even more pressure on David Moyes and his club following the busy holiday schedule and the Premier League calendar. Man U next will play against Swansea in a match at Old Trafford in the Premier League in a rematch from the FA Cup over the weekend and looming on the schedule is a road tilt against Chelsea and that will be at Stamford Bridge and that comes before the club plays against Sunderland, Cardiff City and Stoke City.

Manchester's loss in the FA Cup came at a rough time for the club and now they are seventh on the English Premier League table and working their way up. The club is behind Tottenham on the league table and Arsenal is currently in the top spot and the Gunners are up over Manchester City and Chelsea as well as Liverpool and Everton. Sunderland comes in dangerous because they have nothing to lose and they have the chance to get into the Capital One Cup finals and the match on Tuesday evening is the first leg and while they are in the bottom of the EPL, this is something different and they will have the chance to make some noise.

David Moyes said that his team is ready for the semifinal match against Sunderland and his also said that the club is ready for a nice performance after losing to Swansea in the FA Cup and while that loss was very disappointing, the players and management have supported Moyes in his first season. The Red Devils have been dealing with some tough results this season and while they have dropped some matches at home, they now have the chance to take one on the road and in the Capital One Cup they have a chance to win at least one championship this season.

The club had a busy holiday schedule and now has these two matches before picking up the Premier League schedule over the weekend and they have some questions while dealing with injuries and Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick and Nemanja Vidic should be playing against Sunderland and while Wayne Rooney or Robin van Persie could be out, Man U feels confident heading into the match on Tuesday. Manchester next plays against Swansea in the Premier League and they have a number of matches at Old Trafford and those will be interesting with the way they have played.
