The Florida State Seminoles and the Auburn Tigers are playing on Monday night in the For BCS National Championship game and the matchup will be live on ESPN starting up at 8:30 pm ET and the game is live from Pasadena at the Rose Bowl and heading into the game, FSU is listed as the favorite and the points spread is currently in the double digits.

According to ESPN.com, the consensus for many bettors is that Florida State will cover the points spread and this season they have done a great job against the spread, going 9-0-1 in their last 10 bowl games and they have gone 11-2 on their schedule and now they should have another chance to do it. The Seminoles have Jameis Winston coming in as the Heisman winner this season and he will be the main focus on Monday night for the Auburn defense, while their own finalist in Tre Mason will be the primary player that FSY tries to shut down after he went for over 300 rushing yards against Missouri in the SEC championship game.

The betting line for the game opened up at around six points and then moved to 6.5 before going to nine and now heading into the championship game the number appears to be set at 10 and that gives an interesting dilemma to players betting on both sides. Both teams are coming into the game on five game bowl winning streaks and that means something will have to give on Monday night and it may depend on who can shut down the top player from the opposing team.

The SEC is coming into the game having won the last seven championships and Auburn will try and keep that alive and while they come in as the underdogs, they have a good chance to win, as they are the toughest team Florida State has faced on their schedule. The Seminoles have gone undefeated this season with a 13-0 record, while the Tigers are 12-1 on the season after pulling off miracle wins against Alabama and Georgia.

Auburn comes into the game as SEC conference champions after defeating Missouri and now they will play against the Seminoles, who come in after defeating Duke in the ACC championship game. FSU did not have the toughest schedule compared to other conferences, but they played against Clemson when they were ranked third in the nation and now they will face their toughest team in the final game in the national championship at the Rose Bowl.
