The Miami Dolphins missed the playoffs on the final day of the NFL schedule this season and after what happened with the Richie Incognito-Jonathan Martin scandal, owner Stephen Ross seems poised to make changes and it could star with general manager Jeff Ireland and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman.

The Dolphins season has been marred by the Jonathan Martin scandal and the report from the NFL will be coming soon and before that happens, Ross will need to make some decisions and it appears that Ireland and Sherman will be gone. Sherman seems to be just for football reasons, as the Dolphins offense sputtered at the end of the season after looking okay for most of the year, scoring just seven points over the finals two weeks, both losses, as the team tried to make it into the playoffs as the sixth seed. Instead they will be home again and Sherman could be gone after the offense scored over 30 pints in just one game this season.

Ireland's firing would not come as a surprise to anyone, as he has missed on a number of draft picks and he also reportedly told Jonathan Martin or his agent to "hit" Richie Incognito for the comments he was making, because that's how to solve a locker room problem, with violence. Coming from a front office person with the team, is it any wonder why Martin left the Dolphins? If the GM doesn't support you and the coaching staff is oblivious and wants to "toughen people up", what is a player supposed to do?

Ross seemed defiant in his support for Philbin after he addressed the media for the first time following the scandal, but he could end up getting fired as well, because if he was obvious to thee entire situation, what does that mean for him? Ireland has been in the job for six seasons and his asking of Dez Bryant if his mother was a prostitute just tells you how professional this man is. The team has now gone 6-10 and 7-9 in consecutive seasons and now Ross could be making sweeping changes.
