Fantasy Football Week 16 Advice: Arizona Cardinals To Start Larry Fitzgerald and Carson Palmer Against Seattle Seahawks Sunday

Dec 20, 2013 11:54 AM EST

The Arizona Cardinals are right in the thick of the NFC playoffs race and with Larry Fitzgerald and Carson Palmer coming back to practice this week, fantasy owners in the playoffs can feel confident about starting the wideout and the quarterback for their Week 16 matchups as the Cards take on the Seattle Seahawks.

The Cardinals have played very well at times this season and they are right in the mix for the wild card as they take on the Seahawks on the road and this comes after the team was embarrassed by the Hawks last season 58-0. The Cardinals have said that they have not forgotten about the game and they are motivated to get to double digit wins and now that they have secured a winning season, the team has its eyes set on the postseason after losing out last season in tough fashion with a terrible finish to the year.

Palmer has been exactly what the team needs and Fitzgerald has returned to being a top wide receiver in fantasy this season and he is back in the mix at practice after dealing with a concussion last week. Palmer has been dealing with a sprained ankle and he looks like he will be starting again on Sunday.

Fitzgerald should be fine to start on Sunday after dealing with a concussion and while he was limited in practice, he looks like a full go for Sunday. Fitz has 73 catches this season and is one of the league leaders with 10 touchdowns and he could be the main target on Sunday against a tough Seahawks defense. Palmer has established himself as a solid fantasy quarterback and this season he has over 3,000 yards and 21 touchdowns and the Cards will be looking to win on Sunday to stay alive.
