The New York Knicks are in a freefall and the team has now lost seven games in a row and they have been slumping on their latest road trip and after another loss to the Clippers on Wednesday, the team heads to the Pepsi Center to play against the Denver Nuggets and the game will start up at 9:00 pm and streaming online from the NBA league pass.
The Knicks have not been able to play consistent basketball all season and now they are just 3-11 after starting off undefeated for a stretch last season and now it might even be a struggle to just make the playoffs in the east after the team came in with championship expectations. Carmelo Anthony has been doing his part for the Knicks, but it still hasn't been enough to get the team going in the right direction and now they are ranked 27th in the league in passing yards with 92 points per game and the defense has not been as good as last season, giving up nearly 100 points per contest. The team is ranked 27th in rebounding and 24th in assist per game and the team now faces a high scoring team in the Nuggets and they are 8-6 on the season. The team is finishing up a tough road stretch against the Nuggets and then the team will return home against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday.

Anthony had 27 points in the game against the Clippers to lead the team , while Andrea Bargnani had 10 rebounds and Raymond Felton led the team with seven assists. Anthony is leading the team with 26 points per game and as bad as the Knicks have been, the team is still alive in the division, as the Atlantic is made up of some terrible teams and the leader has just six wins and that means the Knicks need to start turning things around now. This is the second matchup for Anthony in Denver since he was traded and the defense for New York needs to be much better, as the Nuggets come in scoring over 100 points on average in the past 11 and the Knicks need to make sure this game doesn't get out of hand.
The team has been getting some great play from Anthony during the seven game losing streak, averaging close to 30 points per game and the Nuggets have been shooting the lights out and it will take some effort to get things right on Friday. Last time around Anthony did not have a great game against the Nuggets and now he will need to play much better, as the schedule remains tough for the Knicks next month, but they are coming up on an "easier stretch", as they play against the Boston Celtics twice as well as the Orlando Magic and the team also meets another disappointing team in the Brooklyn Nets. The team has a big matchup against the Chicago Bulls and the Knicks also have games against the Atlanta Hawks, Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers and the Knicks will have to turn things around, or some heads could roll, including head coach Mike Woodson and Iman Shumpert has also been mentioned in trade rumors.
