The Miami Hurricanes reached some high points this season after a number of disappointing years out of the national rankings and now the team has the chance to play back into the top 25 if they can get a win against their ACC conference rivals in the Pittsburgh Panthers and the game will be airing live on TV on ABC and the college football game will be streaming online from Heinz Field for the final matchup of the season for the Canes.
Miami comes in with an 8-3 record on the season, but the team is just 4-3 within the ACC conference and unless someone slips up, it looks like Duke will be playing against Florida State in the championship game and that could be a huge matchup with the way the Blue Devils have played in the coastal conference and not many people had the team pegged as the champs from there. Miami is just a game behind Duke overall and in the ACC and they will need and upset to happen to have a chance and they also have to take care of business against the Panthers. Duke has a huge game against North Carolina and in the Atlantic division things are already set with Florida State, as they are playing against Florida to finish the season and they are in the championship game ahead of Clemson after defeating them already this season and the Seminoles come into the game 8-0 in the conference and 11-0 overall to remain number two in the nation behind Alabama and if all holds they will be playing in the national championship game, but of course that all could depend on the Florida DA and whether they decide to charge Jameis Winston with any criminal charges or not.

Miami comes into the game 1-1 against the top 25 this season and Stephen Morris has over 2,500 passing yards this season and he had over 200 against the Cavaliers in the win against Virginia last week and Duke Johnson comes into the game against Pitt also having a nice season with nearly 1,000 yards on the ground. Miami has lost three of the past four games and the loss against Duke was a big one on the road two weeks ago and the team was also blown out by Florida State and now they will try and finish the season on a positive note for Al Golden and they are hoping this is the first step into something big, as the team started off 7-0 and was high ranked for the first time in a number of years. Miami comes into the game ranked 31st in the nation in passing yards per game and they are averaging over 30 points per contest and after putting up 45 against Virginia last week, the Panthers will have to watch out for Morris and Johnson in the Hurricanes offense.
Pitt has not been able to play consistent football this season and they come in 3-4 in the ACC on the season and after going 1-2 against the top 25, they will play against a previously ranked team in Miami and they have won two of the last three games of the schedule, including a close win over Syracuse last week on the road and that came after a win against Notre Dame two weeks before and a loss at home against North Carolina to drop the team to 5-5 and now they will try and clinch a winning season with a victory on Friday. The team is scoring just over 25 points per game this season and the defense has been solid with a bend and not break performance and they will need to rush the ball well against Miami to get a victory on Friday in the ACC matchup.
