The Oregon Ducks have fallen out of the national title picture, but that doesn't make the Civil War any less significant and on Friday the team will take on their rivals the Oregon State Beavers on Friday starting up at 7:00 pm and the game will be streaming from FS1 at Autzen Stadium for the Pac-12 conference matchup.

The Ducks are expecting Marcus Mariota to play in the game after he was injured and the Ducks are now reeling a bit after starting the season 8-0, as they have lost two of the past three games, including a blowout last week to the Arizona Wildcats and now they have the big finale against the Beavers. The Ducks have played much better at home than on the road this season and they have lost their only two games away from Eugene and those were to number five Stanford and then the Wildcats and that second loss came after the team won against Utah two weeks ago. The team still has one of the best offenses in the league, averaging well over 400 yards per game and they will need that against the Beavers, as they have one of the best passing offenses in the nation.

The Ducks come into the game 9-2 on the season and 6-2 in the conference and that makes this game even more important and last week Mariota had 300 yards passing, while Ka'Deem Carey had over 200 yards rushing for Arizona and the Ducks defense now has to rebound from the tough loss against another high scoring team. Oregon comes into the game with nearly 300 passing yards per game on average and the 10th ranked rushing offense in the nation and they still are averaging nearly 50 points per game and the defense is ranked 21st in the nation with 20 points allowed per game.

The rivalry has been going on for over 100 years and is considered to be one of the oldest in all of college football and this year it will be just as heated as it always is. Oregon State comes into the game reeling as well after allowing 70 points scored from the Washington Huskies and now they will try to upset Oregon on the road and they come in with the third best passing offense in the nation with nearly 300 yards per game, but they have lost four games in a row, including matchups to Stanford and USC and the past two games against Arizona State and Washington have been tough and now they have another top offense to deal with. The Beavers are giving up over 30 points per game and the team is ranked 32nd scoring and they will need quarterback Sean Mannion at his best for the Beaver to win the Civil War.
