The Seattle Seahawks have been clearly the best team in the NFC this season and as they head into what could be the toughest stretch of the schedule all year, the team may be looking to bring back Antoine Winfield with Walter Thurmond and Brandon Browner out in the secondary, as Browner reportedly will be suspended for a year after violating the league policy.

The Seahawks are coming into their matchup on Monday night football against the Saints in Week 13 banged up and lacking in the secondary, as they already have Brandon Browner dealing with an injury. According to ESPN.com, Thurmond is now facing a four game suspension for a non-PED violation of the league policy and that means the team will have its depth tested against the Saints, one of the best passing teams in the NFL with Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham.

In order to deal with the missing players in the secondary, Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Seahawks are looking to sign back Winfield to a contract and that came after he thought about retiring over the summer. This would bring back Winfield to the Seahawks and give the team a bit more depth heading into the matchup after Thurmond was suspended. Browner is a key player for the team and with superstar Richard Sherman on the other side, shoring up the other half of the secondary will be one of the biggest questions for the Seahawks the rest of this season.

The team comes into Week 13 ranked second in the league in passing yards allowed per game and if they can't keep it together against the Saints, it could end up being an upset at home. The Saints and Seahawks are playing for playoff position in the NFC on Monday night and whoever loses that game will be at a disadvantage and with the Seahawks playing so well at home this season, it will be imperative that they figure out a way to shut down Brees.

The team has a very tough schedule in the back stretch following the Monday night game against the Saints, as they hit the road for two games against the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants before finishing against the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams at home. Tim Tebow and Michael Turner are still available to sign with teams and it gets to Week 13 of the season, it's looking more and more likely that they will not play this season. Tebow had some interest from the Rams, but that never went anywhere and Turner was looked over for names like Bobby Rainey and Willis McGahee as well as Brandon Jacobs and Peyton Hillis when injuries happened to other teams.
