Nov 23, 2013 11:12 PM EST

The fight on Saturday night between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios is a huge matchup for both fighters and comes at a tough time for Pacquiao and his home nation after the disaster in the Philippines and the boxer will be ready at the Venetian Macao in Macau in China and the fight will be broadcast on HBO pay per view and the PPV stream will be live online and later a replay of the fight can be watched on HBO GO.

The fight is very anticipated for both fighters and comes after a loss to Timothy Bradley for Pacquiao and he will be looking to get back on the winning side of things this time around on Saturday night. Pacquiao has now lost his past two fights against Juan Manuel Marquez and Timothy Bradley, with the last fight coming on a knockout and the Bradley fight was a loss last year on a controversial decision and now he will get the chance to get back into the ring. Pacquiao comes in with a 54-5-2 record and 38 knockouts in his career and after a couple of rough matches, he will be looking to turn things around and he has a tough test in Rios, as he is 31-1-1 with 23 knockouts and he now is coming in after a loss to Mike Alvarado on a unanimous decision and that came after he knocked out Alvarado the first time around. The WBO International Welterweight title is on the line for the two men and while Rios is younger by a number of years, that doesn't mean he will dominate, as the two are about even in reach and knockout percentage and that could be a big factor for the fight.

Naturally the lead up to the fight had its own drama, as the two camps battled this week and while Pacquiao's legacy is firmly planted as one of the best fighters in the world, his recent results have shown that is fading a bit and a win over Rios would knock that out of the way for now and this comes after his sixth round knockout from Marquez back in December that was a disappointment for Pacquiao. The boxer is expected to be aggressive early and that could put Rios on the defensive and that would be what Pacquiao wants in the match. The two sides have been training for months and the battle between the two should be one of the best fights of the past year in all of boxing.

The disaster of Typhoon Haiyan likely will inspire Pacquiao and while that might not get him to win the match, the entire nation will be behind him when he takes the ring and the bell goes off and that makes it very important to Pacquiao, who is also a congressman in the nation. The schedule for the fight has a number of events leading up to it and there was the weigh in on HBO and the undercard fights will begin at 7 PM and the main fight is supposed to start up at 9:00 pm and a replay will be on HBO GO afterwards.

The fight between the two sides leading up to the match is nothing new and started up when Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach was getting frustrated that Rios and his camp were going overtime with their workouts, as the two sides have been working out at the same area at the Venetian Theatre and even though Pacquiao was not there yet, video showed Roach and Robert Garcia, the trainer for Rios, going at it and that will surely make the fight on Saturday even more interesting. The battle between Pacquiao and Rios is at the Venetian Macao in Macau and will be starting up on HBO live on pay per view around 9 PM ET.
