The Detroit Lions, that is, the first place Detroit Lions, are in action on Sunday as they get ready to play in Week 11. Check out their opponent, TV channel and game time info as the Lions look to improve on their lead and current two-game winning streak.

Channel: FOX

Game Time: 1 p.m. ET

Opponents: Pittsburgh Steelers

It will be a battle of AFC & NFC North teams as the Lions face the struggling Steelers. What will the Lions bring to the table and what could they take advantage of in Week 11?

At 6-3, the Lions have a fearsome receiving group that is helping Matt Stafford lead the third-best passing game in the NFL. Mainly, the man gets all the credit is Calvin Johnson. There are still seven games left in the season, counting today's game, and Johnson has racked up 904 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. The next best hands on the Lions is their running back, Reggie Bush. Bush has racked up 343 yards and two touchdowns in 34 catches. Combine this with his 623 rushing yards and Bush has almost given the Lions 1,000 yards of total offense with four touchdowns.

Having a dude like Stafford behind center does not her either. Entering his fifth season in the NFL, Stafford has already established himself as one of the quarterbacks with the strongest arms in the league. However, having a strong arm will not take you anywhere, a quarterback has to make wise decisions as well. Stafford is creative with his arm angles with a sort of, "by any means necessary" attitude when getting throws off. The point is to get the pass there and Stafford will make it happen. This season he has 19 touchdowns, seven interceptions and 2,836 passing yards.

The Steelers possess one of the games best passing defense, allowing only 201 passing yards per game. However, the team is in last place and 3-6, meaning they find ways to lose games. Look for the Lions to use their running game a bit more often as the Steelers have the third worst rushing defense in the NFL, allowing 127.2 yards per game.
