The Washington State Cougars are heading into a tough game on the road against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM ET and the game will be live on the Pac-12 Network from Arizona Stadium and the game will be streaming online from the main league website and the two teams both are trying to improve within the conference.

The Cougars come in after a tough loss against Arizona State and now the team has lost three in a row and three of four games and in those losses the team has given up over 50 points in all of them and not they will try and rebound against a solid 6-3 Arizona team and the last time the Cougars got a win was against California and that came after the team lost against Stanford. The Wildcats are 3-3 in the conference and the Cougars are just 2-4 and the Washington State offense comes in averaging over 360 yards per game through the air and scoring nearly 30 points per contests, but the team is allowing over 30 per game and over the past few they haven't been able to stop any. The team is ranked seventh in the nation in passing yards per game and after losing their opening game to Auburn, who is right there in the picture now, then the team won three straight games and four out of their next five and following the loss to Stanford the offense looked good against the Bears.

Connor Halliday has been fantastic this season and he is one of the leaders in the nation with over 3,000 passing yards this season and he also has 20 touchdowns and the team is currently 2-4 on the conference and 4-5 overall and in the north division they are chasing Washington, Oregon State, Oregon and Stanford in the standings and on the other wide in the south Arizona State is on top ahead of UCLA and behind them are USC, Utah and Colorado and the Cougars have a decent schedule to finish, as they play on the road against the Washington Huskies at the end of the season and in the game before that they will play against Utah and that could be a tough game after they defeated Stanford.

The team has three more games left on the schedule and earlier in the season they had wins over USC, Southern Utah and Idaho and after going on the tough streak the team now travels to to Arizona for the conference matchup. The Wildcats come into the game after losing to the UCLA Bruins last week in a close matchup and that came after three straight wins and after dropping to the number 19 Bruins, they have the Cougars and then against Oregon and Arizona State to finish the schedule and the game against the Ducks will be at home and then the game on the road will be against the Sun Devils. The team is passing for under 200 yards per game but the rushing attack has been working great and is ranked 12th in the nation with over 270 yards per game and the scoring has been solid, putting up over 35 points per game.

The team has wins over California and they already lost to Washington this season and the game against Arizona State will be very anticipated, as it is every season, since the Territorial Cup is one of the oldest in sports and the rivalry goes back over 100 years. The two teams play on Saturday at Arizona Stadium as the Cougars and Wildcats face off on the Pac-12 Network.
