The Oakland Raiders are having a tough season in 2013 and with Terrelle Pryor dealing with a knee injury and that means it's possible that Matt McGloin could get the start on Sunday against the Houston Texans after taking the first team reps for the majority of the time in practice.

Pryor has been playing decent this season, but he had a rough game against the New York Giants last week while dealing with a sore knee and he finished with 122 yards on just 11 completions of 26 passes and now he could be out for the matchup on Sunday. Pryor has been dealing with an injury since the game against the Philadelphia Eagles and head coach Dennis Allen said that Pryor would play on Sunday as long as he was cleared by the medical staff.

Pryor was out of practice earlier in the week before coming back on Thursday and he should be helped along if right tackle Tony Pashos is back in the lineup after missing four games in the past five matchups while dealing with a hip injury. The Raiders have had trouble protecting Pryor this season and that has been an issue for the team and has not been good for his knee injury. The offensive line has been in flux all season and it could end up being McGloin under center on Sunday depending on how the knee looks heading into the game against the Texans.

Pryor has been up and down this season and ESPN.com reports that he looked better in practice on Thursday, as he was not limping much and that could mean he starts on Sunday. The Raiders and Texans are coming into the game with pretty bad records and the Texans have lost seven straight games since opening 2-0 and now they will play the Raiders. Pryor injured his knee against the Eagles and in the last win against the Steelers he passed for just 88 yards. The team has lost three of the last four games and now the team has a tough choice to make.

The Raiders have a tough upcoming schedule with the Texans before playing the Titans and the team is in the middle of a four game stretch on the road in five weeks, with the lone home game coming against the Titans. The games after the Giants includes the Texans on the road as well as the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Jets and after that the team has a tough stretch to finish the season with three divisional games. The team plays at home against the Kansas City Chiefs and then hits the road against the San Diego Chargers before playing at home against the Denver Broncos.
