Philadelphia Eagles fans boo, that is just what they do. They boo their draft picks. They boo their team after a bad play. They might even boo after a win. However, things on the home front have been particularly bad as the Eagles have lost 10 straight games at Lincoln Financial Field, causing the rain of boos to be at an all-time high. As the team attempts to turn things around, DeSean Jackson is begging the Philadelphia faithful to quit with the negativity.

So far this season, the Eagles are 0-4 at home and 5-1 on the road. Fans are frustrated and they certainly have a right to be. Philadelphia has not won a playoff game since 2008 and have not finished with a winning record since 2010. Jackson is confident the team turns things around, but he needs the fans to believe that as well.

"[We need] everybody in the stands really encouraging instead of the opposite," Jackson said, via Rueben Frank of CSNPhilly.com. "Trying to get that energy to be on our side. I feel like it's against us sometimes. Going into the game sometimes, when you're three minutes into a game when you hear boos and things like that, that's kind of crazy to hear. I would] never blame that for the reason you're losing, because you're a professional athlete and you've got a job to do go out there and win a game. Within our locker room, there's no game where we feel we don't have a shot to win a game."

Jackson notes that the team is already focused on attempting to beat their opponent, but now they feel like they are also trying to beat the fans. He believes the booing can really hurt the energy of the team  as it feels like everyone is against them after one bad play.

"We already have to beat our opponent. Now we're trying to fight our fans," Jackson said. "That energy to help us go out there and help us [get an] interception, delay of game penalty, whatever it is, we need them on our side, not against us. Can't blame anybody but ourselves for losing a game. As long as we have that energy to help us go out there and win, that's all we need."

Jackson has been with Philadelphia for six years so he is well aware of what the fans are capable of, both good and bad. He has been a part of the last few frustrating seasons and understands that the fans deserve more than what the Eagles are currently giving them, especially at home. After a few strong games on the road, maybe fans could at least cheer a little bit?
