The Florida State Seminoles are in perfect position to get into the national championship game this season and a matchup is looming against Alabama as long as the team wins out now that Oregon lost, meaning the next game against Wake Forest is a hugely important matchup at BB&T FIELD and the game will start up on ABC starting at 12:00 pm noon with live coverage from ESPN.

The Seminoles have been very good this season on all fronts and Jameis Winston is making a case for himself as a Heisman candidate and now the team has the chance to finish things off right, as the schedule is not very tough at the end of things and they are coming off of another nice win against Miami. Florida State is coming off of a huge win against the Hurricanes and now they have two wins over top 10 teams with Miami and Clemson and that puts them in great position down the final stretch of the year and Winston has been a huge part of it and he should be in the Heisman conversation by the end of things, as he has over 2,500 yards passing this season with 24 touchdowns and the offense has been very good as well, as the top two rushers have over 600 yards and 390 yards, while the receivers have over 700 receiving yards and 600 yards, including eight and three touchdowns as the top two receivers.

The team comes into the game with a huge win over MIA after 325 yards passing from Winston and the team now has the matchup against Wake Forest, who is 4-5 on the season and 2-4 in the ACC conference and now they have a tough matchup against the Deacons. The Seminoles are in the top spot in the Atlantic division with a 6-0 record and they need to make sure they continue winning to make it into the national championship game, as the Tigers are right behind with a 6-1 record and are lurking at number seven in the nation and the team likely will play against Miami again this season with the ACC championship game also coming up. Miami is tops in the Coastal division with a 3-1 record and they are 7-1 this season ahead of Georgia Tech and the team will finish with games against Syracuse and Idaho before playing on the road against Florida and while the team was ranked earlier in the season, they have fallen off a bit.

The team is looking very strong with six wins in a row in the conference and they have been scoring in bunches, as they have put up over 40 points in every game this season, including over 50 a number of times and they are averaging over 51 points per contest and ranks third in the nation in scoring on offense and they should continue along that way this season. The defense has been playing very well along the way with under 14 points allowed per game and they haven't allowed more than 30 since playing Boston College and that was the only time all season. The team is ranked in the top 10 in passing yards per game this season and they are ranked 27th in rushing yards with over 200 yards per game this season and that has been very strong as well. The team has been one of the most impressive in the nation and they have the chance to get to the championship as long as they win out, as they are second in the BCS.

Wake Forest comes into the matchup after losing to Syracuse in their last game in a shutout and now they will host the Seminoles at home and the team has lost two straight matchups in the ACC, including to Miami. The team had won its previous two games before that against Maryland and NC State and before that the team lost to Syracuse and they also have wins over Army and Pres this season and now they have the chance to play spoiler, as they can take down FSU and the team then finishes up the season with Duke and Vandy and that gives the team a chance to finish things right. The Seminoles are taking on Wake Forest on Saturday afternoon at 12 pm noon and the ACC matchup will be live on ABC.
