NBA on TNT is back and they will surely have a show to watch. Check out game time and matchups as TNT will provide a doubleheader of basketball that is truly must-watch TV. Could we see any drama develop from these games or will we watch a preview of the 2014 NBA Finals?

Game Times: 7 p.m. ET, 9:30 p.m. ET

Matchups: Los Angeles Clippers vs. Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets

Channel- Where to Watch: TNT

You already know Chuck, Shaq, Kenny and Ernie will have plenty to talk about once this one is over. Not only will Charles Barkley's Western Conference representatives and potential NBA champions be in action, but the team many consider the true team capable of winning the West will be in action immediately following the action.

Barkley predicted the Clippers would be playing for the championship. Now, if the Clippers are in the Finals, that means the Rockets did not advance or that they had to get past the Rockets at some point in order to have the chance to play for the trophy.

So it's the 3-2 Miami Heat vs. the 3-2 Clippers in American Airlines Arena at 7 p.m. ET. Both of these teams are expected to excel and destroy their opposition. These teams matchup up very well. You can consider LeBron James the equivalent of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin; he can pass, he's agile, strong, a great dunker and a great outside shooter. However, both teams take advantage of their opponents when they are in the open floor. Yes, the Clippers would like to get away from "Lob City," but they possess the weapons to make basketball look very entertaining.

Over in the Western Conference matchup, the hype is built around Dwight Howard facing his former team, the Lakers, whom he walked out on after last season. For Howard it is no longer a big deal, but hey, when the Clippers head back to Boston, they will make a big deal out of Coach Doc Rivers returning as well. It is part of the media hype, but neither the Lakers nor the Rockets are paying much attention to that.

The Rockets are off to a fast start, posting a 4-1 record through their first five games. The Lakers have no true superstar, so it seems like Pau Gasol will have to handle the press off the court and the ball on the court. They are off to a 2-3 start in 2013 and continue to scuffle without their main man Kobe Bryant.

Tune into TNT for the pregame, halftime and postgame shows as the most entertaining crew in television takes a hold of your television this Thursday evening.
