The Miami Heat are in action and the defending champions look to improve their 2-2 record and get back over .500. That sounds weird, talking about the Heat getting back over .500. Here is the TV schedule with channel and game time info as the Heat get ready to tipoff at home as they host the Toronto Raptors.

TV: SunSpM (USA), TSN 2

Game Time: 7 p.m. ET

The Heat started their season well with a 107-95 victory over the Chicago Bulls. The Heat went on to lose two straight games, dropping their second game of the season against the young Philadelphia 76ers team, who took it to the Heat to school. The Brooklyn Nets then followed with a victory, defeating the Heat 101-100.

Miami bounced back to their usual winning ways, defeating the Washington Wizards, 103-93. LeBron James led the way with 25 points adding five assists, but turning the ball over six times. The big three shined in this one as Chris Bosh added 24 points with seven rebounds, while Dwyane Wade added 20 points, five assists and two blocks.

The Heat face a Raptors team that is currently in 2-1 and just half a game behind Miami in the standings. Might as well mention this stuff now because once the season starts the Heat will eventually pull away. The Raptors are a team trying to find themselves. It would take a humongous effort from Toronto's part in order to remain relevant in the East.

Aside from the Heat, the Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks are better teams in the East. The Raptors will have a chance, but odds could be against them.

The Raptors are fresh off victories over the Milwaukee Bucks and they won their season opener at home against the Boston Celtics. Rudy Gay dropped 19 points in that one and Tyler Hansbrough handled the boards with 12 rebounds.

The Heat will attempt to avoid embarrasment tonight. They already have two losses, which many would consider unexpected. A loss the the Nets is understandable, but many are probably still scratching their heads wondering how the defending champs loss to the young crew in Philly.

Tune into tonight's game as the Heat look for their third victory of the season.
