The New York Knicks host the Minnesota Timberwolves in their Sunday night meeting at the Garden. Check out the live stream available as the 1-1 Knicks face the undefeated 2-0 Timberwolves.
Though it is early on in the season, the T'Wolves are only one of five teams undefeated in basketball. They are a team that is full of young talents with guys that do it all. After playing a closer game against the Olando Magic, which they won 120-115. the Timberwolves seem to get it all together, defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 100-81, it was not even close.
The Knicks will be facing Kevin Love, who is the best forward in basketball. His outside shot, but presence in the paint is unmatchable and difficult to defend. However, his presence in the paint is more on the defensive end when he is chasing rebounds. He is such a great rebounder, Love is almost expected to finish every game with a double-double. He finished the game against the Thunder with 12 rebound and 24 points. His teammate, Ricky Rubio also collected a double-double, finishing with 10 assits and 14 points, along with five steals.
The Knicks will hope that their paint game will help them win games and only get better as the season goes along. Big men Tyson Chandler and Andrea Bargnani will be busy tonight. In his last game, Chandler collected 19 rebounds, more than a third of the team's total, but Bargnani's presence is felt on the outside, via his perimeter game.
New York lost their last game against the Chicago Bulls. They lost 81-82 as Derrick Rose finished them off late in the game. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 10 points from the bench, helping Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton. As a team, the Knicks shot only 36 percent and this ultimately led to their demise.
