The Tennessee Titans cannot wait around for Kenny Britt forever. While the team opted not trade the trouble wide receiver at the NFL deadline, they understand that others must step up and replace his lost production. After loading up on young receivers the past two years, several players are stepping up and emerging as stars. According to head coach Mike Munchak, Kendall Wright is slowly becoming one of the best receivers in the entire NFL.

Wright's rookie year was nothing to really brag about. The receiver had 64 catches for 626 yards and four touchdowns. He is on a much better pace this year putting up 433 yards through seven games with one score. His improvement is followed by the improvement of quarterback Jake Locker and the coaching staff is noticing.

While speaking with FOX's NFL pregame show, head coach Mike Munchak said that Wright "could catch 10 passes a game easily." He is convinced the receiver is almost "uncoverable" and a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. These comments come after wide receiving coach Shawn Jefferson told the Tennessean that "[Wright] is well on his way to becoming one of the top playmakers at the receiving sport in the leage."

"He's blessed with a rare skillset of hands, hand-eye coordination. He has above average speed and for his size, he plays big," Jefferson said. "The thing I love about him the most is when the ball is in his hands, that's when he's the most dangerous. He can make a person miss and create yards after the catch."

Currently, Wright leads the team with 40 catches for 433 yards. He is averaging 10.8 yards per catch that ranks him 14th best in the NFL. In the offseason, the Titans switched Wright to the X position while moving Nate Washington to the Z position. The move has been nothing but positive and Wright is loving the improvement he continues to show each week for the team.

"It's gone good for me. I like it. As long as I'm out there on the field I'm capable of making plays so I don't mind being on the inside or outside," Wright said. "I like both and feel like most of my production has come from the inside this year, but it's good that I can do both."

Wright's breakout continues to thrill fantasy owners who took the receiver on a risk. Through seven games, he has been a model of consistency, averaging 61.9 yards per game. He is coming off his best game of the year after catching nine balls for 98 yards. Locker is healthy and back under center which should thrill fans and owners alike.
