Oct 30, 2013 05:52 PM EDT

Brooklyn Nets basketball is back as they travel to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers in both teams' season openers. The Nets are coming off a blockbuster summer after acquiring two future Hall of Famers. You know what that means? Nets basketball us much-watch basketball now. They were exciting last year, providing one of the most dramatic playoff series and they will only be better in 2013. Here is the TV schedule with channel, radio and live stream information.

TV Channels: YES, NBA TV

Radio: WFAN, WTAM

For those who have been living under a rock until the season actually began, the Nets are now dealing with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. Dealing carries a negative conotation, but there will be nothing negative about the energy and talent these veterans will bring to Brooklyn these season. Yes, they are at the end of their run, but they will provide guidance for the younger Brooklyn players. Garnett and Pierce are champions having won in 2008. Surrounding a team with Brook Lopez and Deron Williams with Hall of Famers is the best thing that could happen to this organization.

The Nets went 5-2 in the NBA Preseason. Currently, they are entering the season as the fourth best team in the Eastern Conference right behind the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers. The three teams mentioned are expected to dominate the conference, however, the Nets will give all of these teams a run for their money in the standings.

They should not take tonight's meeting for granted though they face a much younger Cavaliers team. The Cavs have talent and many are wondering if LeBron James is willing to return to the Cavs as the team has stacked up with two first-round picks in the last three years. They have Kyrie Irving who is already emerging as one of the games' future stars. Imagine the speed, strength, versatility and experience James could add to a team like the Cavs.

The Los Angeles Clippers went into Staples Center and were embarrassed by a faster, hungrier Lakers' team. Will the same happen to night?

The Nets are old, but savvy while the Cavs are fresh, youung and inexperienced. Which of the two will prevail tonight?

Check your local radio and TV guides to see if you have access to either of these channels and radio stations. You can also check online for a WFAN radio stream. For Nets fans living in Cleveland, check Fox Sports for local coverage of these games.
