The St. Louis Rams are without a starting quarterback for the remainder of the season. After Sam Bradford went down with an ACL tear on Sunday, the team is suddenly extremely short-handed at the position. With Kellen Clemens the only quarterback remaining on the team's roster, the Rams begin their search for depth. Naturally, Tim Tebow was the first name to be brought up, something everyone on the Rams' front is denying.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the St. Louis Rams are not interested in exploring the Tebow option. Remember, less than two years ago, Tebow took a team to the second round of the playoffs. Now, he cannot sign with a team to save his life. Tebow has been released from the Jets and the New England Patriots in the matter of year. The Rams seemed like a strong option considering all they have is Clemens, but that is not an option.

The Rams' quarterback search will also not include Vince Young. While Young has drawn interest from teams in the recent months as a backup, the Rams seem like a longshot. The reason, Jeff Fisher. The head coach drafted Young as a member of the Tennessee Titans. The two had a rocky relationship at best. There were many reports of riffs between the two, including locker room fights. Fisher eventually fired Young. It is unlikely he would want to consider the quarterback again.

The list of quarterbacks not an option appears longer than the quarterbacks available. In a press conference, Fisher noted the team will look to sign multiple quarterbacks. However that list does not include Trent Edwards or Matt Leinart. He also notes a trade is not in the books either.

"It would not include a trade," Fisher said, via STLToday.com. "We're not gonna go ahead and trade for a quarterback. But we have some names, we've made some contacts, and I'm not at liberty to discuss those names at this point.

Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Dispatch reports Brady Quinn, Graham Harrell and John Skelton are likely to come in for a workout. Another option would be Austin Davis who was on the Rams' roster back in 2012 as the No. 3 quarterback. He did not appear in any games for the team, losing out to Clemens for the backup spot. Fisher appears confident in Clemens working well in the system, but notes that the team must make moves in order to get some depth on the roster.
