The NBA has made its pick for the All Defensive teams in the league for the 2011-2012 season. In the first team they have selected Lebron James, Serge Ibaka, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul and Tony Allen.

James known for his offensive greatness, has made players around the league fear his defense as well. Hustling down the floor to make defensive stops, James averaged almost a block per game in '11-'12. He also averaged about eight rebounds a game and came in third place in steals averaged per game with 1.85.

Ibaka and Howard were first and third, respectively, in blocks averaged per game. Ibaka had averaged almost four blocks a game, meanwhile Howard averaged just over two.

Chris Paul and Tony Allen were bandits on the floor, stealing the ball from opposing players whenever they had a chance. Paul averaged 2.5 steals a game and Allen had just under two per game.

The Second All Defensive team was composed of Kobe Bryant, Rajon Rondo, Luol Deng, Kevin Garnett and Defensive Player of the Year, Tyson Chandler.

Fans were upset and did not understand why Tyson Chandler did not make the First team, but he is still in great company. He averaged a hair under 10 rebounds and close to 1.5 rebounds a game. Knicks fans know very well about Chandler's tenacity, constantly going after rebounds and tapping the ball out to the perimeter after missed shots.

Also highlighting the Second All Defensive team is Rajon Rondo.  Rondo is known for putting on assist clinics, but his fast hands are also used for steals. He had 95 steals in the past season, which is good for 15th in the NBA. Teammate Garnett had just over eight rebounds a game with a steal and almost one block per game.
