The USC Trojans are making the trip to play Notre Dame on Saturday night and will take on the Fighting Irish at Notre Dame Stadium in a game that will be on NBC starting at 7:30 pm and the two teams come in looking for a win at 4-2 and the matchup will be the second since Lane Kiffin was fired for the Trojans and will have coverage on NBC Sports online.
The Trojans have had a disappointing run over the past few years and now that Kiffin is fired, the team can move forward and so far the results have been good, as the team pulled together to win on Thursday last week while beating Arizona and now Cody Kessler and Marqise Lee will be taking on Notre Dame on the road. The Trojans are averaging just over 400 yards per game rushing and passing and Kessler has been solid since taking over, passing for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns and he will be going up against a talented but still developing defense from Notre Dame. The team is averaging just over 200 yards rushing and they will use that to their advantage on Saturday with Madden and Davis going at it.

Lee is having another big season with 30 catches for 385 yards, although he has just one touchdown after almost being a Heisman finalists last season and obviously the turmoil at quarterback and the loss of Matt Barkley has been tough on him. The team is averaging just 28 points per game and are ranked 79th in the nation, while the defense is allowing just over 20 points per game. The team started with a win over Hawaii, but then they suffered a tough 10-7 loss to Washington State and that started the fall for Kiffin. Despite winning the next two games, the team was blown out by Arizona State and that was what got Kiffin fired.
The team rebounded with Ed Orgeron the next game against Arizona with a nice win and now the team will take on Notre Dame on the road before coming back home against Utah, who just upset Stanford and could be a dangerous team. The team then will play three of their next four on the road with two in a row against Oregon State and California and then the team has a huge home game against Stanford and that could keep them in the Pac-12 race and then they finish with Colorado and UCLA to end the year. Lee had seven catches for 92 yards last week and while he hasn't scored in three games, he has had at least 90 in two of three.
Notre Dame comes into the game after winning against Arizona State a couple weeks ago and they are now 4-2 after dropping game to Oklahoma and Michigan earlier in the season and brian Kelly is hoping to get back on track against the Trojans. The team plays on the road against Air Force and then home against Navy and then the team plays on the road against Pitt. ND also has games against BYU and then at the end of the year they play on the road against Stanford. The game against USC will be at Notre Dame Stadium and will start up at 7:30 on NBC and has the Fighting Irish looking to win their second straight game.
