The Aaron Hernandez case was back in court again on Friday, as accomplice Carlos Ortiz was in court for an arraignment to answer for accessory charges in the murder of Odin Lloyd and he pleaded not guilty to the charges.

According to CBS Boston, Ortiz pleaded not guilty to an accessory to murder charge in the death of Odin Lloyd, an associate of Aaron Hernandez that was dating the sister of his fiancée. Ortiz was arraigned in court on Friday on the charges and he pleaded not guilty and now he will be held on bail of $500,000 cash.

Ortiz will next be in court in November on the 20th for a hearing in the case and he came into the arraignment on Friday after previously pleaded not guilty to a weapons charge for having an unlicensed weapon. Hernandez was in court last week to answer to his murder charges, for which he pleaded not guilty, and his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins was also in court, pleading not guilty to perjury charges.

Ortiz is accused of being an accomplice in the murder of Lloyd, as he reportedly was with Hernandez and another man, Ernest Wallace, at the location of the murder. Lloyd's body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home and the former tight end was arrested the following week. Ortiz will be back in court in November.
