The NFL season is now officially into Week 7 after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night football and now they are the first team to play seven games and are the leaders in the NFC West by an even bigger margin for the time being, as the San Francisco 49ers are 4-2 and playing on Sunday.

The NFC West was tight heading into Week 7 and now the Cardinals are the only team under .500 with a 3-4 record, while the Rams are 3-3 this season heading into Sunday. The NFC EAST will have a new team at the top no matter what happens this week, as the Eagles are playing the Cowboys and both teams are 3-3 and it will be the third division matchup for both teams, meaning that one will be 2-1 within the division once the weekend is over. The Giants are playing the Vikings on Monday night and the Redskins are hosting the Bears at 1-4.

The NFC NORTH looks to be one of the tightest divisions this season, as Green Bay is improving at 3-2 and they are just behind the Bears and the Lions at 4-2 at the top of the division. The Vikings are 1-4 and as just mentioned, they play on Monday night football this week. The NFC South has the Saints at the top still and they will remain there no matter what, as they have a bye with a 5-1 record and the rest of the division has three wins combined, with the Panthers, Falcons and Bucs filling it out.

The AFC East has the Patriots up top with a 5-1 record and they play the 3-3 Jets, while the Dolphins are 3-2 and the Buffalo Bills are 2-4 on the season and likely will start Matt Flynn at quarterback on Sunday. The AFC South has the Colts at the top at 4-2 over the Titans, Texans and Jaguars, while the Bengals are leading the North over the Ravens, Browns and Steelers. The AFC West has the Broncos and Chiefs at 6-0 and Denver will have an anticipated game against the Colts on Sunday night. The Chargers are 2-2 and the raiders are 2-4 this season.
