ESPN's next 30 for 30 documentary, 'No Mas' airs Tuesday evening. In the ring, Duran was feared and his record was almost impeccable. We awe at petty undefeated records from today, when back then, in Duran's time, boxers fought because they had no other choice and the sport was truly barbaric. Duran was 71-1 by the time he faced Robinson at the age of 29. Both fighters packed a punch, but Robinson truly got under the champ's skin, forcing "Mano de Piedra" (Hands of Stone in Spanish) to simply quite.
Duran went on to fight 45 times before finally retiring in 2001 at the age of 50. Leonard fought close to a dozen times before hanging up his gloves in 1997. Both fighters even met again in 1989, nine years after they fought Duran vs. Leonard II, however, it was the 1980 bout that everybody remembered. It characterized Duran's career and made one of the game's best look like the biggest quitter under the biggest stage.
The documentary is titled after the supposed words Duran uttered as he told the referee Octavio Meyran to stop the fight in the eighth round. The bout was scheduled for 15, but Duran could not handle the taunting. Heck, Jay-Z has even taunted the boxer's words in his music, reviving the famous words in his feature in Missy Elliot's "One Minute Man (Remix)" over 10 years ago.

Leonard tries getting closure in the documentary as director Eric Drath brings both boxers together as they both open and tell their sides of the story. Clearly, the fact that we are still discussing it in pop culture proves it was one of the most memorable moments in boxing.
