The NFL schedule for Week 6 will finish up with Monday Night Football between the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers at 8:30 PM on ESPN for TV coverage and the game marks the MNF debut for Andrew Luck after he was picked number one overall last season and he will take on a former top five pick in quarterback Philip Rivers.

The Colts are coming into the season after making a surprising run to the playoffs and now that the Houston Texans have turned into an absolute mess, Indianapolis looks to be the favorite in the division this season if they win again, as the Tennessee Titans and Texans each lost and obviously the Jaguars are an absolute mess at 0-6 this season. The Colts have a clear path to the division title if they continue playing well and after starting 1-1, the team, has won three straight games, including two statement victories with the San Francisco 49ers on the road and the Seattle Seahawks at home.

Andrew Luck has been playing very well this season and before winning against the Seahawks 34-28 last week, the team allowed just 10 points while scoring over 50 in the past two games and could continue that stretch on Monday night. The team is playing a stretch of three road games in four weeks and the team will be undefeated over that span if they can win in San Diego. The ESPN matchup with the Chargers is the first MNF game for Andrew Luck and if they improve to 5-1, the Colts will set up a huge matchup with the Denver Broncos next week in Indianapolis for the return of Peyton Manning.

The team is ranked 23rd in the league in passing yards per game, but they are ranked in the top five in rushing yards per game with over 140 and trading for Trent Richardson has been a big part of that. The team is ranked in the top in passing yards allowed per game and they will be facing an improved Chargers team with Philip Rivers, who is having a much better start than he has last season. The Colts opened the season with a win over the Raiders before losing to the Dolphins and the team has won three straight since then over the Niners, Jaguars and Seahawks.

The Colts play the Broncos next before their bye week and then they have another critical stretch of three games on the road in four weeks, as they play Houston on the road before coming home against the Rams and then they play at Tennessee and at Arizona. The team then is home against the Titans before playing on the road against the Bengals and the final stretch sees games against the Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars.
