The Tennessee Titans are all-but done with Kenny Britt. Now as the trade deadline approaches quickly, the team are attempting to field any and all offers for the troubled wide receiver. With many teams in need of another pass catcher as injuries continue to run rampant throughout the league. According to league sources, many are interested in Britt's talents.

The Tennessee Titans have fielded offers from three teams in search of getting Britt. The former first-round pick is having a tough start to his contract year. The wide receiver was benched and slammed for poor effort and route running. Then he saw his production heavily diminished. Top all that with an ACL injury that wiped out his 2011 season and Britt is trade bait.

This issue with a trade for Britt is the asking price. The Titans are requesting a third-round pick in return for the wide receiver. Most teams have found that price too high considering Britt's on-field and off-field issues. According to CBSSports.com, the highest offer for Britt includes a fifth-round draft pick and nothing more.

Britt is currently working off the final year of his rookie contract. He is earning a small $847,500 salary, so clearly money is not the issue in a deal. Many NFL sources are looking at teams like the New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49ers as teams that might be interested in adding at least one wide receiver. The 49ers do not get several players back for a few more weeks. The Patriots are working with a load of inexperience at the position, although Tom Brady makes it work.

Several wide receivers are on the trade market, more so than usual. Many league sources view Hakeem Nicks as trade bait as the New York Giants limp throughout the season. Josh Gordon from the Cleveland Browns is also an option, although the team is denying any such idea. That would leave Britt as the best and cheapest option.

His demise comes at the rise of players like Justin Hunter and Kendall Wright. It is clear the Titans have their players of the future and that no longer includes Britt.
