The UCLA Bruins have been one of the most impressive teams in the country and now that the Stanford Cardinal have lost their first game of the season in a Pac-12 matchup with Utah to fall to 5-1, the Bruins have the chance to take advantage in the conference with their game against California at the Rose Bowl on Saturday as the Golden Bears visit LA at 10:30 pm on ESPN2 and Watch ESPN streaming online.

The Pac-12 has been one of the better conferences in college football this season and UCLA has been most impressive, as they are averaging over 550 yards on offense per game behind Brett Hundley and the team is coming off of their first conference win against Utah, which was in a 34-27 victory. The team won an impressive game over Nebraska earlier in the season and won over New Mexico State the following week before defeating Utah on the road and now they have the chance to improve to 5-0 when California visits on Saturday night.

Hundley has been very impressive this season and he has over 1,000 yards passing and has added nine touchdowns while ranking second on the team in rushing with 242 yards and three touchdowns. The Bruins have won four straight games but scoring at least 34 points and they have dropped 50 on opponents twice this season and this game against Cal is one of only two home games over the next five weeks, as they will also play Colorado later on. The team plays against the Stanford Cardinal next week and now that they have lost, it could be a huge matchup with Pac-12 implications.

David Shaw and Jim Mora have been two of the best coaches in the nation and after playing on the road against Stanford, things do not get easier as they will have to go play against Oregon in Eugene and both of those teams are currently ranked in the top five rankings in the AP top 25, but Stanford will likely be dropping out since they lost to Utah. The team then plays at home against Colorado before heading to Arizona to play the Wildcats and then they will play a big Pac-12 game at home against Washington in a Friday game that will be on ESPN.

The final game against USC should be very interesting with the Bruins now dominating the city and that road game could have huge conference implications as well as national implications if the UCLA squad can remain undefeated. The Bruins have been one of the best offensive teams in the nation and they are ranked in the top 25 in both passing and rushing yards per game and they are averaging nearly 50 yards per game. The defense has been very good this season as well, ranking 30th in the nation while allowing just over 20 points per game.
