The Oregon Ducks are heading to Seattle to play the Washington Huskies on Saturday at Husky Stadium in a nationally televised game on Fox Sports 1 and the matchup in the Pac-12 could be one of the most entertaining of the week, as the two teams have very high powered offenses, especially the Ducks, as they are averaging nearly 60 points this season and will be going off again this afternoon.

The game had plenty of coverage with College GameDay coming to town and now the matchup puts the 5-0 Ducks and the 4-1 Huskies against each other. The ESPN College GameDay football show is by far the best Saturday college football pregame show on television and one reason why is because host Chris Fowler knows just how to handle his crew of Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard and now the show will be making history, as they will visit Washington for the first time as the Huskies host the Oregon Ducks in a Pac-12 game on Fox Sports 1 at 4:00 PM.

The Huskies and their fans have been getting into the festivities all week and when the crew descends for the game on Saturday, things are expected to get a bit rowdy, especially with the Washington State flag in the crowd that has been such a staple at sites for GameDay. The Pac-12 matchup could be one of the highest scoring games of the weekend and puts two high powered offense against each other in Washington and Oregon. The Huskies are scoring nearly 40 points per game and are gaining over 500 total yards per game, while the Ducks are averaging a ridiculous 59 points per game and over 500 total yards and they will be very hard to stop.

The Huskies have gone quite a while since they defeated Oregon and this could be the chance, as GameDay is coming to town for the first time. Washington hasn't beaten the Ducks since back in 2003 and the defense for the Huskies comes in averaging just four yards allowed per play, ranked third in the country and they are also playing very well in the secondary. The Oregon offense is stellar, but the defense has been up to par this season, ranking second in scoring average and the Huskies are coming into the game having lost each of the last nine matchups with the team by an average of 30 points.

The Huskies are coming off of a tough three point loss to the Stanford Cardinal and now the Ducks will come to town with their 5-0 record. Marcus Mariota will be key for the Ducks as much as Keith Price will be for the Huskies and Oregon comes into the matchup having won 10 times with their games featured on GameDay, while the Huskies have lost in each of their matchups. Oregon has scored 50 points or more in all five games this season and after playing the Huskies, the team will host their rival Washington State before playing against UCLA. The team then has a big game against Stanford on the road before finishing the season with three more Pac-12 games.

The Huskies are playing some good football with Price, who has 11 touchdowns and nearly 1,400 yards this season and the team is averaging over 500 yards per game this season while averaging nearly 40 points per game. The team would be pulling off a huge upset with the victory and they are coming in after winning their first four games and then losing to Stanford. The team is playing at Husky Stadium at 4 pm and the game between Washington and Oregon will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.
