Entering this match, Jamaica has only totaled four points in eight games played. Team USA already qualified for the 2014 World Cup and some are rumoring a great run for the Americans in 2014.
In the CONCACAF division, the USA lead the pack having racked up 16 points in eight games played so far in the tournament. Costa Rica follows with a close 15 points in eight games and Honduras is third with 11 points in eight games played.
So maybe the victory does mean something? The USA would probably love to remain at the top of the CONCACAF standings, at least for bragging rights.
In predictions tallied by goal.com, 90 percent of fans believe the USA will walk out victorious, giving Jamaica a slim eight percent chance of winning this match. In fact, fans are not too far off with their predictions. The USA has won three of the last two nations' head-to-head matches, losing back in Sept. 7 of 2012.
As of late, the US has the momentum, having won four of their last five games. The Jamaicans have not won a game in their last five meetings, drawing their last two after three consecutive losses. They lack offense and with the U.S.A's defense, it might be a tough one for this struggling Jamaican squad.
