DeSean Jackson loves to talk. The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver is widely known for his trash talking. The guy has confidence and rightfully so. There is nothing Jackson loves more than going up against the top cornerbacks in the league. He will get that chance in Week 6 as the Eagles face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Darrelle Revis.

Jackson is excited for his trip to Revis Island. The cornerback is constantly placed on the opponents best receiver and Jackson is confident he will be running with Revis all day on Sunday. However, Jackson is very confident that Revis will not be able to catch him.

"I'm sure [Revis] will follow me around," Jackson said, via PhillyMag.com. "He followed me around when he was with the New York Jets two years ago. I'm sure his coaches are confident in him. But I don't think he can run with me. I don't think he's as fast as me."

Jackson remembers Revis asking him to slow down, crediting the receiver for his speed on the field. "He was like, 'You're too fast, slow down.' I'm just going to try to put my speed on him and stress on him as I can. I've got to do what I need to."

Jackson clarifies his statements saying he has the highest respect for Revis and his talents as a cornerback. He believes wide receivers are always aware of who the best defenders are, but self-confidence is what makes them able to compete with one another.

"He's a great player. I don't want to take away from him. He has elusiveness, he's smart, he has intelligence, he has feet work. He's one of those guys, he knows what he's doing. He's comfortable and he's confident playing press or playing off the ball," Jackson said.

The last time Jackson and Revis went up against one another, the wide receiver was stuck on the island the entire game. The cornerback held Jackson to just two catches for 28 yards back in 2011. Jackson is hoping to make this battle more a team effort than a one-on-one competition between he and Revis. The Buccaneers are certainly not the team they used to be and the Eagles have had their ups and downs so this matchup could come down to the wide receiver-cornerback battle.
