Miami Heat Rumors: Dwyane Wade Concerned LeBron James, Chris Bosh Focused on Money in Free Agency, Erik Spoelstra Downplays Contract Talks in 2013

The Big 3 of the Miami Heat may be attempting to squash all free agency talk until after the season is over, but the questions continue to come. The fact is, LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade will be three of the most sought after players come the summer of 2014. While they are avoiding any discussions that do not revolve around defending a title, one star is speaking up about his concerns.

Many are wondering what factors will play into the three players decisions about their futures. Bosh, Wade and James all took pay cuts to play together back in 2010, but will they be willing to do it again to keep the team together? Wade is concerned money will start to sway decisions one way or another.

"You're concerned," Wade said, via the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "That's obviously an important part of the puzzle. So, that's something that we leave to our agents, we leave to the Miami Heat front office to see what they can present us, how creative they can be. We understand it's not as easy as it was in 2010 when we signed."

Obviously, if all three want to stay together, they will have to be willing to compromise money once again. Meanwhile, plenty of teams would love to make one of them the highest paid player in the league. Bosh and James will likely both command max contracts if they decide to cut ties with the Heat. Wade will likely get a favorable deal, but nothing too big. If they end up staying in Miami, all three could earn around $42 million for the next two years.

While Wade is concerned money is the biggest factor in the upcoming free agency run, Bosh believes a championship will dictate a lot. The Heat have won back-to-back titles and Bosh believes whether or not they win a third this year will dictate plenty of things about the summer of 2014.

"With everybody being under contract and having no tomorrow, it's kind of exciting because we know what we have to do for one and then, two, it's like it helps you focus on what you need to do in that moment instead of next year or whenever. If we take care of business, we know everything is going to be all good. So, we just have to take that mentality and that kind of erases all the doubt," Bosh said, via the Miami Herald. "Everybody wants to know what we're going to do after the season. Yeah, I get it. Everything depends on this season. If we win, cool. If we lose, that's when it's like 'What if?'"

Time will tell what happens in the summer of 2014. That decision is still a long way from happening. Right now, the Heat are simply focused on adding another trophy to the case.
