Thursday Night Football TV Schedule: Start Time and Channel Coverage For Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills NFL Game

Oct 03, 2013 04:58 PM EDT

The NFL season is already past the quarter mark and with a number of teams struggling and a handful of others undefeated, the ones in the middle of the pack know that victories are hard to come by and both the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills understand that as they look to try and get their third wins on Thursday night football.

The Browns started off the season with two uninspired losses and after trading away Trent Richardson to the Colts, many felt that the team was giving up on the season. Instead, the aftermath of the deal has seen the team win two games and they have looked about the same if not better on offense, with Brian Hoyer leading the way at quarterback since taking over for the injured Brandon Weeden, who hurt his hand earlier against the Ravens.

The Browns have a tough schedule coming up after the Buffalo game, as the team will play at home against the 3-1 Detroit Lions and then they will go on the road for two straight games as they play the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau and then the now undefeated Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead, always a tough place to play. The team finishes their first part of the season against the Baltimore Ravens and then will have a bye in Week 10.

The team is broken nearly in half for the Browns and coming out of the bye they will have their second straight game against an AFC North division opponent with the Bengals and then they will have to play another one right away against the Steelers at home. The North is shaping up to be a close divisional race this season, as the Bengals, Browns and Raven all have two wins, while the Steelers have zero so far through four games.

The Browns will next play the Jacksonville Jaguars at home on the schedule and that should be an easy game since the team is winless as well and it simply terrible, while the next week will bring the hardest game for the team this season. The Browns travel to Boston to play the New England Patriots on the road and that sets up the final stretch of the year, as the Chicago Bears will visit before two road games to end things.

The team will travel for an AFC matchup against the Jets in New York and then the team will play on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers to finish the season. The North division could be out of the Browns' hands by then, but the team is playing much better and it could factor into the title by that time. The Bills have a tough schedule on the back end as well, as the team has divisional games against the Patriots and the Dolphins and will also have to travel to play the Patriots as well as the Steelers. The team also will have a home game against the Falcons as well as a tough home matchup against the Chiefs, which comes after a road game against the Saints, who look like one of the best teams in the league this season.
