The Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints are looking like two of the top teams early in the 2013 NFL season, which is why the matchup on Monday Night Football on ESPN for Week 4 has the potential to be one of the best primetime games of the season.

The game will be on ESPN at 8:30 PM and the Dolphins will be travelling to the Superdome for the matchup. The Saints are coming into the game after a dominating win over the Arizona Cardinals, while the Dolphins are coming into the game on the road after taking care of business at home against the Falcons last week by winning 27-23. That game had plenty of excitement for both sides and with Drew Brees and company hosting, things could get explosive in the Superdome on Monday night.

The Dolphins have looked solid passing the ball this season after that area was lacking in 2012 and the development of Ryan Tannehill has been a big part of that this season. Over the first three games of the year he has passed for over 800 yards and his accuracy has been top notch, completing over 63 percent of his passes in all three games this season and that will be tested on Monday, as the Saints defense is improved from last season as well.

Tannehill has passed for at least one touchdown in every game this season and he had his first multi touchdown game against the Falcons last week, passing for 236 yards and two scores while hitting on 24 of 35 passes in the game for nearly 70 percent completions. Tannehill is the key for the Dolphins and his wideouts in Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace have been solid and tight end Charles Clay has also been a solid option for the team to use this season.

The Dolphins are ranked in the middle of the pack passing the ball, averaging just under 250 yards per game through the air, while the team is ranked 27th in rushing with Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas, who have so far been disappointments. Losing Jake Long on the o-line has hurt, but the team appears to be doing better in pass protection, especially after last week. Miami pulled out two close games after handily defeating the Browns, as they took down the Colts and the Falcons over the past two weeks and that is impressive since both were playoff teams from a season ago.

After playing the Saints on Monday night football, the team has to host the Super Bowl champion Ravens and that will lead them into their bye in Week 6. The team has yet to play a divisional game and that will start after the bye, as the Bills will visit Miami before the Dolphins head up north to play the Patriots on the road. The Bengals are on the docket next for Tannehill then is another Monday night game with a road game against the Buccaneers, who are 0-4 this season and sinking fast.

The Dolphins have a tough stretch to finish the season, as they host the new look San Diego Chargers before hosting the Panthers and Cam Newton, which will lead the team into another division game on the road against the Jets. The Dolphins then play on the road against the Steelers before hosting the Pats and then the team travels to Buffalo before the team hosts the Jets to end the season.
