The Super Bowl is a long way off, but one player says that a Week 4 matchup could be a potential preview, as Houston Texans safety Ed Reed said that the game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday is a potential championship battle.

According to ESPN.com, Reed said that the game is a "potential" Super Bowl preview for this season, as the Texans and Seahawks are considered to be two of the best teams in the league and one of the best in their respective conferences. The Texans are 2-1 this season and will host the 3-0 Seahawks after they defeated the Jaguars last week at home in a lopsided game.

The Texans and the AFC South are playing against the NFC West this season and the Seahawks game is just the first in what should be a challenging schedule the rest of the way. The Texans are coming off of a tough 30-9 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week on the road and now they will go on a tough stretch coming up, as they will travel to play the 49ers before hosting the Rams and then playing the Chiefs before their bye week.

The Seahawks have a tough stretch as well, but if they win on Sunday they could keep up their undefeated record, although playing on the road next against the Colts will then go a stretch of three road games in four weeks. The team will play the Cardinals and Rams before the Bucs and then will have a playoff rematch with the Falcons on the road.
