The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning are riding high at 3-0 and this week the team is looking to win again with the Eagles coming to town and Wes Welker likely will get plenty of looks on Sunday, as Manning and him have looked very comfortable together.

Manning has been electric this season, throwing for 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions after tossing seven in Week 1 and he already has 1,143 yards passing this season. Manning has gone over 300 yards in every game and he tossed for 462, 307 and 374 over the past three weeks and also beat his brother and the Giants in the process. Manning has weapons in Eric Decker, Welker and Demaryius Thomas and he has done a good job spreading the ball around.

Welker has already been targeted 27 times in three games and has 19 catches for nearly 200 yards and he also has four touchdowns, which already ranks second in the NFL. He has been targeted 16 times over the past two weeks and has 10 catches and two touchdowns and with the Eagles coming to town he could put up even better numbers.

Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton is retiring after this season is over and in his final game at Coors Field on Wednesday night, he hit a homerun to liven up the festivities and he had some friends in the stands cheering him on, including Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

According to the Denver Post, Manning had been planning for some time to attend the game on Wednesday, as he and Helton were teammates together when he went to the University of Tennessee. Manning came in as a young quarterback while Helton was older and when Manning first came to visit before he signed with the Denver Broncos, he stayed at his apartment.

Manning has said that the two are great friends and Helton is finishing his career with a solid season after hitting over .250 with double-digit home runs and 60 RBIs. Helton was a prime hitter during his career and he will finish his near double-decade career in baseball with a plus-.310 batting average. Helton has been having a great final week to end his career, as he is hitting over .350 with five doubles, two home runs and nearly 10 RBIs over the past seven days.
