The Denver Broncos are looking like one of the best teams in football after starting 2-0 with great performances against the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants, but injuries on the offensive line could start to derail things, as the team lost starting left tackle Ryan Clady to a foot injury and now he will be out for the rest of the season.

According to ESPN.com, Clady is done for the year after dealing with a Lisfranc tear injury and now he is gone after signing a long term extension to remain with the team, taking away the primary blocker for quarterback Peyton Manning. The Broncos signed Winston Justice to take over and it is just the most recent injury for the Broncos on the offensive line after already losing JD Walton and Dan Koppen to injuries as well.

Clady is one of the most consistent tackles in the NFL and he had been healthy for his entire career leading up to this season, playing in every game he has had the chance to start and now he is done after he will need surgery for the foot injury. The team added Winston Justice to help soften the blow of losing Clady, but that might not be enough, as Manning works best when his protection is solid and his timing is right and any slip ups could derail the offense.

Manning has put up some great numbers after starting with seven touchdowns against the Ravens and now he has the chance to play on Monday night against the Oakland Raiders. Clady has been the Pro Bowl three different times and now he will be done for the season after signing a long contract extension and before Justice can play, Chris Clark is expected to start for the team on Monday night.

Manning will have to watch his back going forward.
