Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Joel Stave clearly takes a knee during his game against the Arizona State Sun Devils Saturday, September 14. The play call was blown and now the team heads into the Illinois game on October 19 at 4-2."

The Wisconsin Badgers are reeling after a terrible loss to the Arizona Cardinals that ended with a blown play call by officials and adding insult to injury, the wife of former coach Bret Bielema, Jen Bielema, stirred up some emotions when she Tweeted "karma" after the game ended.

According to SB Nation, Bielema tweeted after the controversial loss the simple post of "#karma" and that set off plenty of responses from fans of the Badgers as well as people in the media, as they took it to mean that Wisconsin is getting karma back after her husband left the program to coach Arkansas. The logic there is a bit off anyway, since Bielema was the one that left Wisconsin holding the bag and not the either way around and of course afterwards Bielema said that it was referring to other people on Twitter who have hounded her in the past.

Whether or the not the timing was right or was directed at the wrong people, Bielema's tweets rankled some Badgers fans that had no recourse after a terrible call from Pac-12 officials, who have been known to make some awful mistakes in the past. The play in question was a complete mess, including for the Badgers, even though they technically did everything right.

With the team down to the Sun Devils and on their own side of the field, quarterback Joel Stave started moving down towards the opposite endzone and with very little time left and down by two at 32-30, the team set itself up for a field goal. Stave took the snap and wanted to move the field goal to the middle of the field, so he moves from the hash mark and took a knee, but he wasn't very forceful about it and after getting knocked over by his own lineman, chaos erupted.

Stave placed the ball down so the refs could spot it, but Arizona State jumped on it like it was a fumble, even though one official signaled he put his knee down and then time ran out before the team could spike the ball to get the field goal unit out. The Badgers were furious after the game and the Pac-12 said it reprimanded its officials for the job they did.

Whether or not her Tweets were at the team or not, the Badgers have a legitimate beef when it comes to what happened and if they run the table they should be uber pissed.
