Tim Tebow Rumors: Sports Agent Dismisses Offers As Jaguars Fans Hold 3:16 Rally For Jacksonville To Sign Quarterback

The Tim Tebow free agent saga now gets to continue once again after the New England Patriots decided to release him and Jacksonville Jaguars fans have taken the baton, as a group has called on the team to sign the quarterback, holding a rally on Monday in honor of Tebow to ask the Jaguars to bring him in.

According to ESPN.com, at least 20 people, and 30 media members of course, showed up to the EverBank Field parking lot on Monday for a rally to ask the Jaguars to sign Tebow. The rally was supposed to start at 3:16 pm and lasted three hours and 16 minutes, which is in honor of Tebow and the bible verse he used to wear on his eye paint. The report says that the group had 20 people show up to the rally and that they have dedicated members that will organize their social media and also will design signs and stickers for the cause.

This is not the first time the team has had to deal with fans asking for Tebow to be signed, as it happened before he was signed by the Patriots, with fans making a White House petition and also one making a local ad. The Jaguars have been steadfast in their non-pursuit of Tebow and while the team has been awful through two games, scoring just 11 points, no signs of change have come from the organization.

The leader of the group, a local man named James Stewart, said that there would be more rally's and that they likely would come on Monday's after games, especially when the Jaguars lose. The fan said that Tebow could help the team win since they are playing so badly and that it is a "perfect" time to try out Tebow on the field. The team has Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne at quarterback, two players who have never won a playoff game, something Tebow has done.

The group made a website to help organize things called , jags-tebow.com, and now if the team goes to 0-3, chances are there will be another rally. Chad Henne was solid with 241 yards passing with a touchdown, but that was all the Jags could muster. Tebow has also had to deal with other offers, including from a Russian team as well as the LA Kiss Arena team, but his agent rebuffed those offers. On top of that, Peter King reported that one team was interested if he would change positions, but Tebow was not down with that either.
