NFL Season TV Broadcast Schedule: MMQB Lists CBS, NBC, Fox Sports and ESPN Best Games and Broadcasters For 2013 Season

Sep 05, 2013 12:31 PM EDT

The NFL season is about to start with the Baltimore Ravens visiting the Denver Broncos on Thursday night on NBC for the first game of the season and the good people over at the MMQB listed out all the broadcast teams as well as the best games heading into the season.

Richard Deitsch is the best media sports writer out there and he outlines all the call teams for every channel, including ESPN, NBC, Fox and CBS and this year Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will continue as the number one team for CBS. The duo usually calls the top games for the network and this year some highlights include the Bengals and Bears in Week 1 as well as the Giants and Broncos in Week 2.

NBC has one of the best crews with Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth and they will start the season with the Ravens and the Broncos on Thursday and they will also call the Giants and Cowboys on Sunday night. CBS has been consistent over the years with the broadcast team and this year is no different, as the same groupings from last year will be calling games for the network.

The Broncos have some new names on the roster as well, the most notable being Wes Welker after he signed in the offseason after leaving the Patriots. Welker joins Montee Ball in the offense as a new face and Peyton Manning will be looking to have another MVP like season in 2013. The team opens with the Broncos before travelling to face brother Eli and the Giants in New York and that should be another tough game.

The New England Patriots are travelling to play the Buffalo Bills in week 1, while other games include the Bengals vs. the Bears, Miami visiting the Browns, the Falcons playing the Saints as well as the Bucs visiting the Jets. The Titans and Steelers will play, while the Raiders will travel to play the Colts and the Cardinals will travel to play the Rams.
